In Tribute to Patricia de Paiz: Elegance with Purpose
This website gathers pieces that were once part of the life of Patricia de Paiz — items chosen with taste, worn with elegance, and treasured with care.
More than objects, they are fragments of a life lived with purpose. They reflect the sensitivity, generosity, and vision of a woman who understood that true value lies in serving others and creating opportunities for others.
Her legacy goes far beyond the material. Through her dedication and work with Funsepa, Patricia helped open doors to education and hope for thousands of children and young people in Guatemala.
May each piece presented here serve as a tribute to her memory and a continuation of the impact she helped build.
Thank you for being here and for being part of this initiative that celebrates her life and extends her legacy.
Our purpose
Through this initiative, funds are directed to Funsepa’s programs that bring technology into public schools, strengthen teacher training, and create real opportunities for students across Guatemala.
About Funsepa
Fundación Sergio Paiz Andrade (Funsepa) was established in 2004 to honor the life and legacy of Sergio Paiz Andrade. It was founded by Patricia de Paiz, and her children—Salvador, Sergio, and Carolina—driven by the conviction that education and technology are powerful tools that transform lives.
Since then, Funsepa has worked to bridge the digital divide by integrating technology into public education and strengthening teacher training.
To date, the foundation has contributed to the development of 18 Digital Cities, installed more than 2,300 computer labs across the country, and delivered 38,333 computers to public schools. These efforts have impacted over 669,867 children and young people, while 97,234 teachers have been trained in the use of technology as an educational tool.
During her life, Patricia worked tirelessly to help Funsepa grow and thrive, dedicating her time, vision, and energy to expanding its impact across Guatemala.
Funsepa continues to work alongside communities and partners to expand access to quality education—believing that technology, when used with purpose, can open doors to a better future for Guatemala.
